KC Urban Farms and Gardens Tour

So this one isn't completely free, but it's only $5 per person, or $12 per family. This Sunday, June 28th, you can take a self-guided tour of 30 Kansas City area community gardens and urban farms. Visit their website to purchase tickets online, download a map of the tour stops, and check out pre-tour events for this week leading up to the main event on Sunday. Some of the tour stops will even feature storytellers, scavenger hunts and other kids activities, and even cooking demonstrations and live music! Sounds like a bargain for five bucks!
